Don't let this question stop you eating more healthily at home. You're
probably saving all money for your wedding anyway and don't
need to buy a whole bunch of expensive equipment that you might not
use.
The raw food diet doesn't need to be complicated. For example, you don't need anything fancy to make salads beyond a
chopping board, a decent knife and a good salad bowl but here are some other
items you might consider:
Juicer: is a necessity in my book.
You can start off with a cheap one for about £20 but it's worth spending a bit
more to get one that's easy to clean so you'll actually use it. I have a basic
Phillips one for about £70-100, but I'll eventually upgrade to a more expensive
power juicer in the future.
Blender: will make you smoothies, soups, dips and all sorts. Again, I have the Philips one, which is well priced and crushes ice too.
Spiraliser: is a fun item that makes noodles out of vegetables like carrots and courgettes. Expect to pay around £20, but it's great. You can use them in salads, wraps or even as a substitute for spaghetti, or for noodles in a cooked stir-fry.
Vitamix: is the champion of all blenders. This is the type used in most juice bar chains, it's extremely powerful, can blend anything and is quite an investment. I use my at least once a day, so it's good value for me as I can use it as a juicer / blender and a food processor in one.
Dehydrator: this dehydrates food (obviously) and can be used to make delicious raw snacks like chocolate, crackers, biscuits. Again, these can be quite pricey but not essential at the start of your raw food journey.
